The bar entrance is located between the Theatre and the adjacent underground station.

Viewed towards the bookshop at mezzanine level.
Centralised 'horseshoe' bar
Relocated within the undercroft area, the bar brings focus to the centre of the room.
Eating and drinking areas
With carefully placed nooks for drinking and dining, the design provides for various uses.
Perimeter seating booths
Facing into the room, the booths enable larger groups to enjoy the space.
Screen to rear of seating booths
Borrowing the design of lettering found elsewhere in the theatre.
Reading room
What was a dim, damp space, now warmly glows to draw customers through to the rear of the bar.

Designed with playwrights in mind, the space has individually adjustable lighting and laptop points.
Informal seating area
Flexible to adapt to the relative calm of daytime use, as well as intensive interval periods.
